Get answers to common questions about RLT- Red Light Therapy .
Sessions are noninvasive and typically last 10–30 minutes. You’ll lie under a red/near-infrared panel with eye protection. You may feel gentle warmth; treatment is painless and can be combined with massage or used as a stand-alone add-on.
Frequency depends on your goals. Many clients see improvement after 6–12 treatments scheduled weekly or biweekly, with maintenance sessions monthly. A customized plan will be recommended based on skin, pain, or recovery needs.
Red light therapy is generally safe for all skin types because it uses low-level wavelengths, not UV. Eye protection is required. Inform us of photosensitivity, medications, or conditions to ensure a safe, tailored approach.
Side effects are minimal and may include temporary warmth, mild redness, or transient headache. Serious reactions are rare. Avoid if you’re on photosensitizing medication or have specific medical contraindications until you consult a provider.
Yes—RLT can stimulate hair follicles and support cellular processes linked to hair growth. It may also promote better sleep by aiding cellular recovery and circadian regulation. Results are gradual and vary by individual.
Remove makeup and topical products that may increase photosensitivity, wear comfortable clothing, and disclose medications, pregnancy, or implants. We’ll provide eye protection; typical prep is brief and sessions are quick.
